Great Pyrenees - the epic livestock guardian dog breed

Both parents are full blood Great Pyrenees. They are working dogs and work on our 15 acre farm with goats, pigs, rabbits, chickens and ducks. The puppies will start their training very early with the livestock, as well as socializing with our family including our three children. By week 8, your pup will be ready  to make a seamless transition to your family farm! 

Please do your research on the breed before contacting to make sure this  is the breed for you. These dogs do really great on farms as protectors  for livestock, and are cuddly teddy bears when it comes to humans.  They do need secure fencing, or an invisible fence system to keep them contained. Since I brought home my first LGD (Livestock Guardian Dog) many years  ago, I have not lost a single animal to predators. They will protect from both land and air predators, and will be trained by their parents as much as possible before they leave. If you would like me to keep your puppy longer than 8 weeks for additional training, that can be arranged.
